     6.  Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (in Windows XP) and to C:\Users\ {User-Name}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (in Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista) if C: is your System drive. AppData is a hidden folder. So, you will need to select showing hidden folders in Folder options to locate it.
     7.  Paste the file.

 

Now when the next time you start your computer, Windows will welcome you in its own computerized voice.

Note: For best results, it is recommended to change sound scheme to No Sounds.
You can change the sound scheme to No Sounds by following the steps given below:-

1. Go to Control Panel.
2. Then click on Switch to Classic View.
3. Then Click on Sounds and Audio Devices.
4. Then Click on the Sounds Tab.
5. Select No Sounds from the Sound Scheme option.
6. If you wish to save your Previous Sound Scheme, you can save it by clicking Yes in the popup menu.
7. Click on OK.

To make this happen, all you need is Microsoft Outlook installed on the PC which you want to control from your cell phone

Now let’s begin with the tutorial.

First, you need the batch files to perform the Shutdown, Hibernate operation.

For example,

Copy this code and paste it in notepad, save it as shutdown.bat

Now open up Microsoft Outlook. I am assuming that you have already configured it for your Email and I am not going to teach you about setting mail in Microsoft Outlook. Now we will need to make it so that Outlook checks your inbox about every minute.

You can do this by going to Tools>Options. Then click on Mail Setup tab, and then, the Send/Receive button.

Make sure that the Schedule an automatic send/receive every… box is checked, and set the number of minutes to 1 or anytime you may like. Now you may close all of these dialog boxes.

Now go to Tools>Rules and Alerts. Click on E-mail Rules tab. In new window select Check messages when they arrive and click Next.

Now in next page, check on, on this machine only and with specific words in the subject.

After checking these two values, click on specific words underlined.

Search Text window will open, in the input field type the command that shuts down the PC. You can use any commands. For prevention of accidental execution I kept %shutdown% as a command. Click on Add button after you are done and click on OK.

Now click on Next.

In the next window check mark on start application. In the lower screen, click on application link.

Now you’ll be welcomed to your familiar file open window. Load all files. And select the batch file that you’ve created to shutdown your PC.

If everything went well you’ll see the screen similar to below:

Click on Next, again click on next (don’t choose any things in this step). And finally click on Finish button.

You’ll have %shutdown% alert shown in the E-mail Rules tab.

Now, when you send a message from your phone to your e-mail address with the Subject  %shutdown% your computer will trigger shutdown.bat file and instantly executes the command in that batch file finally leading to shutdown the PC.

You can use any batch file to execute any command.

 Virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect your computer. These viruses can spread via USB/flash drive or from one computer to other computer by few written codes. There are many antivirus software available to remove viruses from computer. But there are some viruses or suspicious files which can’t be removed by any antivirus software. Some suspicious files such as autorun.inf initiate all the viruses in pc. These files must be removed for safe operation of your pc, because they may lead to data loss, software damages etc. Such viruses and files can be removed by using cmd. In this article we will discuss how to remove a virus using command prompt. Following steps can be used to remove a virus using command prompt from your computer.

• Go to start menu and type “cmd” in the search box or Start>all programs>accessories>command prompt.

• Open the infected drive such as write , g: to go to G drive.
• Now type dir/w/a . It will show all the files of the drive including hidden files.

• Locate AUTORUN.INF or any Virus and other suspicious files in the directory.

there was no virus in my drive so only autorun.inf is been highlighted.

• Type command attrib  -r –a –s –h to remove attributes of corresponding file.

Type del autorun.inf to delete autorun.inf file.

• Now type del virus name.exe t delete it, eg : del newfolder.exe .

(You can also delete viruses by using following steps:

• When you find an Autorun.inf file or any other unusual .exe file just rename it.

Syntax for rename is (rename filename.extension new name ,  for example: (rename autorun.inf virus) to rename autorun.inf file. Here I have renamed it by “virus”.

• Now you can access the defected drive without affecting the virus.
• To delete the renamed file go to the defected drive and select the file you renamed.

Now delete the harmful renamed files.)

You have deleted that virus successfully but sometimes virus resides in the Recycler folder.To locate this folder:

• Type cd recycler command.

• Again type dir/w/a  to locate all file of the folder.
• Identify malicious files and delete them using above commands.

Follow the above steps carefully and i think this information is enough to remove a virus using command prompt easily.

How to Disable Autorun in Windows 7

Whenever you connect a removable media to your computer, the autorun feature of Windows 7 comes into action and immediately provides you with many options including the ‘Open folder to view files’ option. Apart from the internet, most viruses and malware enter the system through infected removable media. Malicious programs malware and viruses usually infects the Autorun.inf file present on the removable media device. If you happen to connect an infected removable media device like USB to your computer and then make use of the ‘Open folder to view files’ option, the malware will get activated and thereby attack all the files of your system. The only way to deal with this problem is to disable the Autorun feature of Windows.
Here are the steps on how to disable Autorun in Windows 7:
Step 1. Press Windows key + R to launch the Run dialogue box. Here you need to enter Gpedit.msc and then click on OK.

Step 2. You will now see the Local Group Policy Editor on your screen.

Step 3. On the Local Group Policy Editor, you need to click on Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates> Windows Components. Under Windows Components, you will see AutoPlay Policies.

Step 4. When you click on AutoPlay Policies on the left, you will also see an option that says Turn off AutoPlay on the right. Click on it and then choose the Edit option.

Step 5. On the Turn off AutoPlay window, you need to select the Enabled option

Step 6. Click on the Apply and OK buttons and to finish the disable Autorun feature on Windows 7. Also make sure you select the All drives option as shown on the screenshot of step no.5 in order to disable the Autorun feature on all drives.
